Some Faces Of Hate And Bigotry

antifa

Dear Americans meet Antifa.  This is the other side that President Trump was referring to.  In addition to the KKK this group descended on Charlottesville.  The only difference between the two is the color of their costume.  Besides that they are pretty much the same.

Unfortunately neither group is hiding their face out of shame.  That would take some sense of decency which is clearly lacking with both.  No they hide their faces to conceal their identity.  Because none would dare to be on the street alone otherwise.  Their strength lies in numbers.  Their victims are picked when they are the most vulnerable.

Don’t be fooled by our unhinged press or politicians that defend, encourage and enable these thugs.  John McCain and others can call them “Americans Standing Up to defy hate and bigotry” all they want.  But Antifa by any other name is still a blight on our society.

This Nation, no matter color, creed, religion or political party find the KKK repulsive at best.  Antifa is much of the same.  No matter your color, creed, religion or political party you must find this group just as unacceptable.

They can march around all they want, chanting whatever vile hateful speech they want.  This is the United States Of America.  The First Amendment gives them that right.  However it does not give either group the right to cover their faces at public rallies or carry weapons.

Those committing crimes must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  One by one they will be herded out of the mob.  They will be standing alone if front the judge.

Vocabulary Police Arresting Free Speech

fr2

The First Amendment of the Constitution affords US citizens the right to speak their mind.  There is no clause that says “unless it is offensive”.  Although we may not agree with what’s said, we have always defended the rights of others to speak.

Under the guise of political correctness speech is being censored across this country.  College campuses receiving funding from the Federal government are erupting in anarchy in attempt to deny the free speech of those they deem not worthy of speaking.

US Congress members attempting to hold town hall meetings with their constituents are not allowed to speak.  Groups of individuals cause chaos in an attempt to shut them up.  Voters and their elected officials are not able to have an open dialogue.

Every syllable uttered is scrutinized and interpreted for us by the self-appointed vocabulary police.  If it is not acceptable to them it is not tolerated.  Free speech is only acceptable if  they agree with what is said.

The First Amendment does give the right to peacefully protest.  It does not give the right to impede the liberties of others.  It does not give the right to set fires, damage property and physically assault others.

The United States is a melting pot of many cultures with different ideas and beliefs.  In order to peacefully coexist we must all be tolerant of others.  “Sticks and stones will break my bones.  But, names will never hurt me.”

No one is entitled to shove their views down the throats of others.  Yet, there are those among us trying to do just that.  Those of us who respect the rights of others have turned a blind eye to their oppressive behavior.  However, there comes a time when enough is enough.

We are a Nation of law and order.  Without rules we have chaos.  It is time for those breaking our laws to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  The behavior of a few is jeopardizing the safety of many.
