What About Me? Sedition?

press

The days of journalistic integrity are long gone.  What was once considered a respected profession today’s “journalists” have turned to ruin.  The main stream media come up with stories they hope will come true and present them as facts.

It use to be that the press presented the facts and allowed their audience to draw their own conclusions.  We as a nation could count on them to inform us of the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  After watching any event in its entirety and then watching the coverage of the very same event is an eye opener.  It is clear that the facts presented are misleading if not down right false.  The attempt to manipulate the audience is transparent.

The nightly news anchors of yesteryear held themselves to the highest of standards.  Today’s nightly news anchors hold themselves in their highest regard.  Instead of reporting news, far too often they are the news.

When it was announced that leakers of classified information would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law the press only had one question.  “What about us?”  Who cares that there are those in our government committing treason?

When Steve Bannon referred to the press as an “enemy of the people” they all cried foul.  What true journalists would have done was ask themselves why Bannon called them that in the first place.  Could it be because they are not being honest with those that rely on them for the truth?

A free press is important in a free society.  So, when the main stream media becomes to busy trying to stir up trouble that they neglect the facts they do more harm than good.  At this point in time the press can not be relied on.

The main stream media’s agenda is clear.  If it doesn’t support the “Trump Evil” rhetoric they try to force down our throats daily, they don’t report it.  It seems odd that the only thing they report on is President Donald J. Trump.  Meanwhile the world turns and we the people are left uninformed.

It is bad enough that the main stream media is so mean and hateful towards President Trump.  But, President Trump is a big boy.  He did not get where he is today by being as “thin-skinned”, “psychotic”, “a thug” etc. that the press reports.  At the end of the day, Donald J. Trump is now and will forevermore be the 45th President of the United States of America.

Far worse is what the main stream media refuses to cover.  Instead of asking the questions that need to be asked they have become complicit in cover ups.  There are definitely a few rocks that need to be turned over regarding many things having nothing to do with the President.  Where is Clark Kent when we need him?

To all those narcissistic bullies hiding behind their press passes.  Here is a news flash.  There are limits to the rights afforded to the “free press”.  Everyone is allowed to print whatever they want without government restrictions.  However, the press is subject to laws of libel, obscenity, SEDITION, etc.

With “anonymous sources” used to support stories later in need of retraction regularly one might ask if the main stream media isn’t breaking libel laws.  Is rude, obnoxious behavior obscene?  Now for the big one.  Was it a confession when the reporter asked what about the press?

Sedition is defined as the incitement of decent or rebellion against government.  If the daily assaults on the President of the United States of America are not meant to take down a sitting President and our democracy as we know it, I don’t know what is.  Maybe it’s time for many in the main stream media to lawyer up.

Loony Left – If Only They Would

fl

There was a time in the United States when the words we pledge our allegiance with meant something.  Many of our citizens fought for our right to say them.  Many of those died so that we might live freely in a democracy.

Presidents come and Presidents go.  It is not the person filling the office but, the office itself that makes this country great.  However, an attack of a sitting President is a threat to our democracy.

Whether you love President Trump or hate him, is irrelevant.  Donald J. Trump is now and will forevermore be the 45th President of the United States of America.  Only time will tell whether or not he was a good one.  In the meantime we need to let the man do his job.

The daily salacious headlines crying wolf based on gossip and supported by anonymous sources do more harm than good for the United States.  We are a nation where people are innocent until proven guilty.  Yet our main stream media act as judge, jury and executioner.

Speculation on what may or may not be true is nothing more than that.  The idea that democrats lie and the media swears to it is absurd.  Are those on the left staying up at night developing the melody of the moment in their The Sky Is Falling song so narcissistic to believe it will be business as usual if their coup attempts were successful?

Democrats in Congress and the media are opening Pandora’s Box.  We are a nation of law and order based on the United States Constitution.  Those trying to undermine President Trump can only succeed by undermining the principles the United States of America was founded on.

The lack of respect, civility and common decency practiced daily by those trying to further their own self-serving agenda is disgraceful.  President Trump is sixty-eight years old.  He has been in the public eye for most of his adult life.  Any connection to Russia would have been discovered long ago.

If a group of malcontents can successfully take down a sitting President what chance do the rest of us have?  If the President can be slandered on a daily basis what chance do the rest of us have?  Guilty of something, the loony left has no idea what.  But, they will keep on looking.

The media have backed themselves into a corner.  The complete and total lack of facts to back up the drivel they spew based on anonymous sources have made what use to be a respected profession nothing more than a joke.  The airwaves are filled daily with hysterical fear mongers. The transparency of the propaganda makes the media look unhinged.

The media has painted a fictitious picture that cannot be supported with actual facts.  Their desperation more apparent daily, forces them to present more and more speculation.  The more speculation the press presents as fact the less we as a nation can rely on them.

If the Trump administration fails so do the American people in more ways than one.  Rational people outside Washington, DC are busy trying to put food on the table.  Everyone and their brother are investigating anyone and everything Trump.

A novel idea might be to wait for the results of actual investigations based on facts before drawing conclusions.  Unfortunately our main stream media has written the story and hope like hell the investigations will make them true.  However, if the investigations produce no crime the United States press will be reduced to a laughing-stock of the world.

One Nation Under God

trump4

Whether you love him or hate him it is in everyone’s best interest for President Donald J. Trump to succeed.  Those of you trying to undermine him are doing so at the peril of this nation.

war

Every action has a reaction.  The collateral damage being caused by all the nonsense going on in this country is embarrassing at best.  Sooner or later when you play with fire you get burnt.  The worldwide coverage of our shenanigans angers and emboldens those who might wish the United States harm.

evil

We have reached a fork in the road.  It is time for every American to ask them self what kind of America they would like to live in.

fake1 anarchy

Mean hateful speech fills the airwaves.  Anarchists threaten our free speech.  Every cause demands top priority.  Tantrums erupt daily.  Name calling, fear mongering, criticizing, lying and complaining have now become the national past times.  Instant gratification is the goal.

school

The future of this country depends on our children.  Yet our education system is broken.  Children do not feel safe.  This is no longer the land of opportunity for many of them.  We as a nation are failing them.

Violent criminals, drugs, gangs and poverty have taken over our cities and towns.  Homeless people live on our streets.  Our elderly are neglected.  Far too many people are in desperate need of public assistance.  Self-indulgence has replaced common sense.

trump2

Donald J. Trump is the forty-fifth President of the United States.  It is not necessary to like him.  But, we must accept him.  If we think he is weak than it is our duty as Americans to give him strength.  There has never been a President that everybody liked.  The election is over.  It is time to put partisan politics aside and come together.

The Trump hysteria needs to stop.  Instead of wasting all that energy on negativity use it for good.  Instead of playing the malcontent open your mind to new ideas.  Instead of complaining, think of ways to make the world a better place.  Smile at someone.  Help an old lady cross the street.  Stop the constant bickering.  Treat people how you would like to be treated, even President Trump.

key

Does President Trump have all the answers?  Of course not, no one does, not even me.  Does he make mistakes?  Of course he does.  We all do.  He is only human.  If President Trump succeeds with half of his agenda we as a nation will be better off.  Everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax.  Let the man do his job.

peace

President Trump wants to keep us safe, provide better education for our children, help families rise out of poverty, lower the need for public assistance, fix our crumbling infrastructure, take care of our veterans, bring jobs back to this country, strengthen our military, stop our dependence on others, peace on earth and goodwill towards man.  In short President Trump simply wants to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
